  My family would like to thank our funeral director Burnadette Brusoe at the Demaine Funeral home in Springfield VA for her hard work in preparing my fathers funeral on Wednesday August 24th. Bernadette displayed nothing but professionalism and compassion for our family during this difficult time. Even days after the funeral Bernadette continued to display these wonderful characteristics as she went out of her way to accommodate our families request for specific paperwork. For over 20 years my family has used the Demaine Funeral home in Springfield for the services of several family members and have never been disappointed. Thanks for everything and a special thanks to Bernadette for her kindness and compassion.

  The experience was not the best. Bernadette was rushed with other duties and the amenities offered were not what we contracted for. It was a two-part funeral, one the immediate memorial service within a week; the other was the burial at Arlington National Cemetery. The limousine was not a family limo, but a party limo with a bar and curved seating. The attendees were not young, and had to crawl into the limo. The driver of the hearse was not familiar with the circle at Memorial Bridge and we ended up in Washington,DC with a return trip to the Cemetery. Linens were not returned to the family as contracted for. Additional charges were added after the original contract meeting for limo service and complimentary business cards.
  The cost was very high and the quality was not what we expected. I will not recommend this funeral home.
